Mohanlal’s L2E: Empuraan has rewritten history, becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film overseas in just three days. The film has surpassed Manjummel Boys ($8.87M) and is now heading towards the $10 million mark, making it the first-ever Malayalam film to achieve this feat.

The overseas performance has been phenomenal, with the film grossing over ₹80 crore outside India. Meanwhile, in Kerala, the film has amassed ₹32 crore in just three days, with projections suggesting a ₹45 crore weekend total in the state.

The worldwide weekend gross of Empuraan is expected to cross ₹160 crore, making it an all-time industry blockbuster. The Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, starring Mohanlal, has set new benchmarks for Malayalam cinema, proving its pan-Indian and global appeal.
