Family audience slowly accepting Kasaba
Mammootty starrer movie Kasaba is now running successfully here in Kerala and this Nithin Reni Panicker movie had already made an excellent start despite mixed reviews from all around. At first there were reports from screens that family support was not there for the movie because of the presence of lot of double meaning dialogues in it and the film got the U/A certificate.
But, after the first few days, reports coming from some centers that family audience had slowly started accepting the movie as families had started to come to watch this movie. It is a very good news for the team behind the film. If Family audience starts coming in more numbers for this movie, it will do good to its long run prospect. The long run of a movie here is always decided by the support of family audience and it seems that Kasaba had started to get that support from them.

The film is mainly for the diehard fans of Mammootty and it celebrates Mammootty as a star by including his stylish mannerisms and punch dialogues. The mass fight sequences are attracting the audience and it is a complete package of entertainment. May be that element is attracting the family audience now.
The film had earned 8 crore+ in 5 days of its theatrical run and hoping that it will reach a safe zone in box office by the end of the first week itself.
