Kerala Box Office : Sachin A Billion Dreams Collection Report 6 Days
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic, Sachin: A Billion Dreams continues to do great business across all the release centres. In Kerala, the film had a limited release finding screens mostly in multiplexes.
According to latest reports from trade sources, Sachin: A Billion Dreams has managed to earn Rs 1.12 crores from it’s 6 days theatrical run in the state. The Kerala box office is highly competitive now with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Godha and Adventures Of Omanakuttan doing good business. Sachin: A Billion Dreams is a docu-drama which is a new experience for the audience.
The film, directed by James Erskine
hit screens on May 26 amid great expectations. It was released in 2400 screens in India and 400 screens overseas. The film opened to largely positive reports from the critics. The film has managed to gross around Rs 40 crores in all the four languages.
Sachin: A Billion Dreams showcases Sachin Tendulkar’s journey from a just another kid to become the world’s best cricketer. Apart from his cricket and personal life, it also reveals certain unknown aspects of his life. The film has real footage from Sachin’s personal life to the years he spent on the field.
Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali, kids Sara and Arjun, cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virender Sehwag are all part of the movie. Oscar Award winner AR Rahman has composed the music. The film was shot simultaneously in Hindi, Marathi and English. It was dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu languages.
