Maheshinte Prathikaram Final Collection Report | All India
Maheshinte Prathikaram, which was directed by debutant Dileesh Pothen and scripted by Shyam Pushkaran was released in this year February. Young star Fahad Fazil had played the lead in this movie which was produced by popular director Aashiq Abu. The film had become a great success in box office and brought back Fahad Fazil to the success track after the struggle he went through for last few years.
The film become a blockbuster success here in Mollywood and can be termed as the first blockbuster of this year. Great word of mouth had spread all over Kerala from the very first show and people are of the opinion that it was the best movie released till now in Mollywood this year. The flick had got above 16 crores from Kerala alone and as per the reports coming in from trade guides, the film had grossed around 23.65 crores in its all India run.
Thus, Maheshinte Prathikaram had becomes Fahad Fazil’s first solo blockbuster and he had made a place in the 20 crore club of Mollywood with this film. Even though Bangalore days had entered the 30 crore club in 2014, it was a multi-starrer which had Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly as well along with Fahad Fazil.
Aparnna Balamurali and Anusree played the female leads in Maheshinte Prathikaram and the characters played by Ley Alencier and Soubin Shahir also got great appreciation.
