Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’ Sets Box Office on Fire with Massive Day 1 Collection

Thalapathy Vijay’s much-anticipated movie ‘GOAT’ has taken the global box office by storm, reportedly grossing an astounding 126 crores worldwide on its opening day, according to the official statement from the production house. However, trade analysts suggest a more conservative figure, indicating that the movie has crossed the 100 crore mark globally on Day 1.

The breakdown of the Day 1 collection shows GOAT grossing approximately ₹54 crores in India alone. Tamil Nadu leads the pack with 31 crores, followed by Kerala with ₹5.8 crores, while the North Indian market contributed 4 crores, demonstrating Vijay’s strong pan-Indian appeal.

On the international front, GOAT has collected a whopping 48 crores overseas, solidifying Vijay’s international fan base. This marks Vijay’s second consecutive film, after Leo, to cross 100 crores worldwide on the first day itself, cementing his position as a box office powerhouse.

Fans and critics are hailing the film’s record-breaking start, with expectations high for continued box office dominance.
