65th National Film Awards: Here’s the complete list of winners!

The 65th National Film Awards was announced on Friday by the ten-member jury panel at the PIB Conference Room, Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi. Riddha Sen and late actor Sridevi bagged the top honors for the best actor male and female respectively. Malayali filmmaker Jayaraj won the award for best director for his movie Bhayanakam.

This year’s jury is headed by director Shekhar Kapur, and the panel includes screenwriter Imtiaz Hussain, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Rumi Jaffrey, South Indian actress Gautami Tadimalla, lyricist Mehboob, Kannada director P Sheshadri, Ranjit Das, Rajesh Mapuskar and Tripurari Sharma. The award ceremony for the 65th National Film Awards will be held on May 3.
