Aamir Khan would love to play Lord Krishna in SS Rajamouli’s Mahabharatha
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is widely regarded as the Mr Perfectionist of Indian cinema because he rarely puts a foot wrong be it his selection of movies or the efforts he takes to portray a character convincingly.
The actor recently in a media interaction said that he would love to play the role of Hindu god Krishna. He was reply to a question about his thoughts on ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s plans on making a movie on the Indian epic Mahabaratha.
He said, “If a film is being made on the epic Mahabharata, I would like to play the role of lord Krishna.”
Of Late, Aamir Khan has been releasing only one movie in a gap of two years. But the actor has said that his next movie will be out in eight months time.
He said, “They say that my film releases once in every two or three years. I thought I must address that complaint. So, within eight months you will see my next film,”
He also said that he would like to work with south Indian stars like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, adding that he was open to act in a South Indian film, if an exciting script came his way.
Aamir Khan’s next release, Dangal is gearing up to hit the screens worldwide on December 23. The movie directed by Nitesh Tiwari is a sports drama in which Aamir Khan is playing the character of a wrestler inspired from the real life of Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Dangal is a movie about how a father trains his two daughters in wrestling to bring glory to the country. The movie has been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.
The distribution team of Disney has applied for tax exemption in all the states so that maximum people watch the movie. Recently Zee TV brought the satellite rights of the movie for a whopping 75 crores which is the highest for any movie in the country.
The actor meanwhile is sporting thick beard and moustache apparently for his next movie Thugs of Hindustan directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya which will see him sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in his career.
