“Aashan” to Hit Theatres Soon; Shobi Thilakan’s Character Poster Unveiled
After the superhit ‘Romancham’, Guppy Cinemas is back with their new film ‘Aashan’, written and directed by Johnpaul George, known for Guppy and Ambili. Touted as a dramedy, the film narrates a story related to the cine world, crafted with humor and freshness. The makers have also revealed that nearly 100 newcomers will be making their debut through this project.
Veteran actor Indrans plays the lead role in Aashan, while actor Shobi Thilakan appears in a crucial character. The makers have now unveiled his poster, which has created a buzz among cinephiles. Industry insiders suggest that this could turn out to be one of the most defining roles in Shobi Thilakan’s career. Earlier, Indrans’ Onam-special poster from the film had already gone viral, raising anticipation for the release.
The film is jointly produced by Johnpaul George, Annam Johnpaul, and Suraj Philip Jacob. With Vimal Jose Thachil handling cinematography, Kiran Das on editing, and MR Rajasekharan in charge of sound design, the technical team looks strong. Music is composed by Johnpaul George, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and background score by Ajeesh Anto. ‘Aashan’ is expected to reach theatres soon.
