Aashirvad Cinemas to produce a Twenty 20-like film with 140 members of AMMA

Superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty inaugurated the new building of Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) on Saturday. The building located at Deshabhimani Road in Kochi is equipped with state of the art facilities including a 150-seat mini-theatre and exclusive cabins for script discussions. The five-storey building has special cabins for the office bearers and other staffs.

During the inauguration function, a surprise announcement was also made. Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas is producing a Twenty 20-like film featuring around 140 artists from AMMA. Priyadarshan and TK Rajeev Kumar will be jointly directing the film, which is a crime thriller. The latter has also scripted the film.

The project is being made for the welfare of AMMA members. A first look poster was also unveiled at the function. Interestingly, the general public can suggest a suitable title for the film and a contest for the same will be announced soon.
