Abhishek Bachchan replaces Dulquer Salmaan in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan!

It is already known that Anurag Kashyap is making a triangular love story titled Manmarziyan. Tapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan were initially reported to be playing the three lead roles. However, it now appears that Abishek Bachchan has replaced Dulquer Salmaan in the movie.

Earlier in the day, actor Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share a picture with Abhishek Taapsee, Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap. He captioned it as, “Really excited for this new journey to begin with this amazing team! #Manmarziyaan with @aanandlrai Sir, @anuragkashyap10 Sir, @taapsee & @bachchan.”

Malayali cinephiles, especially Dulquer’s fans, were very much excited when it was reported that Anurag Kashyap would be directing Dulquer. It must be a disappointing moment for them now as Kashyap is one of the most celebrated and revered filmmakers in Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, Dulquer’s debut Hindi movie ‘Karwaan’ is gearing up for release. Directed by Akash Khurana, the movie also stars Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar in lead roles. Ronnie Screwvala is launching Dulquer in Bollywood by producing this film. An official word about the release date is expected to be made very soon.
