Actor Rahman’s daughter Rushda Rahman to enter cinema as Dulquer Salmaan’s pair?
Celebrity kids following their parents’ footsteps to enter the world of movies is a very common thing from the past itself. The trend has been prevalent in industries like Bollywood from the 70s period itself where the Kapoor clan ruled the roost.
Mollywood also has it’s share of celebrity kids like Prithviraj, Indrajith, Dulquer Salmaan, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Kalidas Jayaram, Gokul Suresh, Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and many others.
In a recent interview, actor Rahman said that both his daughters, Rushda and Alisha are interested in acting and they might pursue a career in films. Rushda is an MBA graduate while her younger sister Alisha is studying in 9th standard. He remarked that both of them will definitely be entering the film industry when offered with good roles.
Rushda is a huge fan of Mollywood’s hot favorite Dulquer Salmaan. When asked about the possibility of them pairing up for a movie, Rahman said that it’s the Almighty who plans that but he will only be happy if such an offer comes by.
Rahman was once a very busy actor in the South acting alongside superstars like Prem Nazir, Madhu Mohanlal and Mammootty. But presently, he is very selective with his movies. He commits only for those films that offer him ample scope for perfomance. Last year, he played the lead in Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, a Tamil whodunit thriller. The movie was a huge success and Rahman’s performance was highly appreciated.
