Aishwarya Lekshmi in talks for Dhanush’s next with Karthik Subbaraj

It is already known that Dhanush has signed a film with director Karthik Subbaraj. The project was officially announced a couple of years back but there were not many updates since then. As per latest reports, Karthik Subbaraj is now reviving the project and pre-production works are already underway. Y Not Studios is producing the movie.

Latest buzz is that Malayali actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is being considered to play the female lead in the movie. Aishwarya shot to fame with the romantic film ‘Mayaanadhi’ and followed it up with impressive performances in ‘Varathan’ and ‘Vijay Superum Pournamiyum’. She is currently one of the most wanted heroines in Malayalam and has ‘Brother’s Day’ with Prithviraj as her next release.

Aishwarya Lekshmi is said to be making her Tamil debut with Sundar C’s upcoming film, which has Vishal in the lead. Tamannah Bhatia is also part of the film, shoot for which is currently underway.
