Onlookers Media report about the bad health condition of Lekha M Namboothiri, who had become popular here years back by donating her Kidney free of coast to a young man, had created waves in social media. We reported her wish to see Mammootty as she had got inspired from one of his characters which lead her to donate her Kidney.
Mammootty came to know about this through our report and he had contacted Lekha M Namboothiri through his media manager and offered her all the help and he also said that he will meet her once he become free from his hectic schedule. Now, along with Mammootty, Young MLA Shafi Parambil also came forward to help Lekha M Namboothiri in his own way.
Shafi Parambil posted in his Facebook page that he had contacted Mammootty after hearing this Onlookers Media report about Lekha Namboothiri. Mammootty said to him that he will meet her very soon. Mammootty also expressed his concern that there are chances that people may misunderstood the news related to Lekha’s health issues.
He said that her bad health condition is not happened due to the Kidney Donation. It was due to an accident which led to her health issue related to her spinal cord. Mammootty said that if report spread in a wrong way then it can create negative notion among people about organ donation. He also told Shafi that many people are contacting Lekha and many are sharing this news in social media. But no one is quite ready to help her financially or more directly.
So, Shafi had found out a way to help her financially. He had given an account number in the name of Smart Palakkad and requested everyone to contribute in whatever way they can.
