Aravindante Athidhikal satellite rights acquired by Asianet for Rs 3 crores!
Vineeth Sreenivasan, with his guy next door image, enjoys a considerable popularity among the family audience. His upcoming release Aravindante Athidhikal promises to a clean feel good entertainer aimed at families, who usually throng theatres in large numbers this holiday season. M Mohanan, who has given hit films like like Katha Parayumbol and Manikyakallu is directing this movie.
Recently, market leader Asianet bagged the movie’s satellite rights for Rs 3 crores, which is a good figure considering the absence of big stars in the cast. Vineeth Sreenivasan plays the lead in the movie and Nikhila Vimal of Love 24×7 fame is paired opposite him. The movie has a strong supporting cast which includes Urvashi, Shanthi Krishna, Sreenivasan, KPAC Lalitha, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Biju Kuttan, Salim Kumar, Prem Kumar, Kottayam Nazeer and Baiju among others.
Aravindante Athidhikal scripted by newcomer Rajesh Raghavan is set in the premises of the famous Mookambika Temple in Kollur. Vineeth Sreenivasan plays Aravindan, an orphan raised by Madhavan (Sreenivasan), who owns a lodge – Mookambika Vilasam. The movie explores the protagonist Aravindan’s relationship with his guests and his wait for his long lost mother. The superhit Shaan Rahman-Vineeth Sreenivasan combo have given two songs in the movie and both of them are getting good response from the listeners.
Aravindante Athidhikal is jointly produced by Pradeep Kumar Pathiyara of Pathiyara Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Noble Babu Thomas of Big Bang Entertainments. The makers have officially informed that the movie will be hitting screens on April 27.
