Baahubali 2 The Conclusion grosses Rs 750 crore worldwide
Seems like there is no stopping Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The SS Rajamouli directorial has been on a record shattering spree ever since it released on April 28. The movie released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam in around 9000 theatres worldwide.
The movie has already grossed Rs 750 crore from the box office collections across the world. The movie opened to phenomenal response worldwide. Releasing in around 6500 theatres in India alone, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion earned Rs 121 crore on its opening, which is also the highest ever opening for any movie in the country.
Baahubali 2 is now well within the reach of toppling the 2014 nationwide blockbuster PK. The Aamir Khan starrer is currently the highest grossing Indian movie of all time. It grossed Rs 792 crore worldwide in its lifetime. Baahubali 2 is just Rs 42 crore short of the mark right now and is soon expected to unseat PK from the top position.
