Baahubali 2: The Conclusion all versions inching towards Rs 1700 crores worldwide
SS Rajamouli’s action epic drama Baahubali 2: The Conclusion continues to get great response from the audience. It’s been a month over the movie’s release but there seem to be no real downfall in the collections.
The Prabhas- Rana starrer recently crossed the 1600 crore mark at the box office from it’s earnings in all the versions. According to latest reports, Baahubali 2 has grossed Rs 1345 crores in India from all the langues. In the overseas market, the movie has grossed over Rs 307, taking the worldwide gross to well past Rs 1600 crores.
The movie’s Hindi version recently created a new record by becoming the first ever Hindi film to earn Rs 500 crores. It is the first Indian film to have earned Rs 500 crore in any language in the domestic market. Apart from this, it has also become the first film to gross over Rs 300 crores in the twin Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The makers are now planning a massive release in China. The humongous success of Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has surely inspired the makers of Baahubali to plan a wide release. The first part- Baahubali: The Beginning was released in 6000 screens in the country but it could not create a big impact there. However, the makers are very optimistic this time around and have made it clear that they are looking to release the film with a proper strategy in China, Japan, Taiwan and the Latin American countries among others.
