Baahubali villain in Mammootty’s upcoming movie
Mammootty is currently shooting in Banglore for noted ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith’s directorial debut. The movie titled as Parole features Mammootty in the role of a convict. It is a thriller based on some real life incidents. Miya George is playing one of the female leads in the film.
Latest development in the camp is that Telugu actor Prabhakar has been roped in to play a pivotal part. Prabhakar is popular for his role as the Kalakeya king in SS Rajamouli’s action epic drama Baahubali: The Beginning. His role in the movie was hugely popular for the ruthlessness of the Kalakeya tribe and their Kiliki language. His performance in the movie earned him solid roles in many big projects in Tamil and Telugu.
Parole will mark his debut appearance in Malayalam. He is playing a very prominent character in this Mammootty starrer. The team is currently shooting in Banglore and will be later moving to Kerala for the second schedule.
Director Sharrath Sandith has been in the ad film circuit for sometime now. He has also worked with Mammootty in some ad films for South Indian bank. The director has assured that his debut movie will have a classy presentation just like his ad films.
Parole, scripted by Ajith Poojappura is based on some true incidents. It is a family drama cum thriller where Mammootty will be seen as a prisoner. The veteran star has given amazing performances while playing the role of a prisoner in films like New Delhi, Nirakoottu, Munnariyippu etc.
