Bala’s next to have Suriya and Arya in the lead roles!
As per latest reports from Kollywood medias, National award winning filmmaker Bala is set to helm a multi-starrer next. Suriya and Arya are said to be playing the lead roles in the film. Atharvaa Murali is also being considered to play another prominent role. An official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.
It must be noted that all three actors – Suriya, Arya and Atharvaa have worked with director Bala. For Suriya, it was Bala who gave an image makeover with ‘Nanda’ in 2001. They later worked together in the National award winning film ‘Pithamagan’. Arya has also worked with Bala twice in ‘Naan Kadavul’ and ‘Avan Ivan’. Likewise, Atharvaa played the lead in the director’s highly acclaimed film ‘Paradesi’.
Bala’s last release was ‘Naachiyaar’ starring GV Prakash and Jyothika. Earlier this year, he had directed ‘Varma’, the Tamil remake of Telugu hit, ‘Arjun Reddy’. However, the film was dropped by the producers, who then made a new version of the film with a different team.
