Budget revised for Allu Arjun-Fahadh Faasil starrer Pushpa
It is being widely reported that Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ will be releasing in two parts. Though the film was originally planned as a regular single-part film, the makers have now decided to extend it. Director Sukumar believes that the script has the potential for a second part and he has already conveyed the same to Allu and the makers. The film was originally planned to be made on a budget of Rs 160 crores including the remunerations.
With several new changes in the script, the estimated budget is now around Rs 250 crores for both the parts. Allu Arjun and the producers also seem to be convinced with it. The makers are expected to give an official confirmation soon.
‘Pushpa’ is a hugely hyped project. It is Allu Arjun’s first pan-Indian film that is planned to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film’s shoot has currently been stopped due to the pandemic. It is learnt that about 45 days of work still remains for completion. If things go as per plans, ‘Pushpa: Part 1’ will be released either in October or mid-December. The second part might start rolling by next summer.
‘Pushpa’ stars Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. It is likely that most of Fahadh’s portions will appear only in the second part. Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Jagapati Babu, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Anish Kuruvilla and many others are part of the supporting cast.
