Cinematographer Suresh Rajan impresses with his work in Thottappan
Vinayakan starrer ‘Thottappan’ has got good response from the critics and is doing decently well in the theatres. The movie directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty tells an intense story of a teenager and her godfather. PS Rafeeque penned the movie’s screenplay based on the book of the same name by Francis Noronha.
While ‘Thottappan’ is getting appreciation for its performances, another striking element of the movie is its cinematography. DOP Suresh Rajan has done an excellent job in capturing the beauty of Kochi’s islets, where the plot is set in. Much of the events occur at night, and Suresh Rajan’s framing plays a major part in the overall aesthetics of the movie.
