Dhanush completes dubbing for Karnan; Film gearing up for theatrical release

The makers of Dhanush’s eagerly awaited ‘Karnan’ had recently announced that the film will be hitting screens in April. The team is currently busy finishing the post-production works. Dhanush completed dubbing for his portions last day. He informed the same through his social media handle by sharing a photo from the dubbing studio.

‘Karnan’ is a rural-based film that is partly inspired from real life incidents. Mari Selvaraj’s debut film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ was a widely acclaimed one that spoke about Dalit politics. Similar to that, ‘Karnan’ is also expected to have hard-hitting politics in it. Recently, music director Santhosh Narayanan had tweeted that he was left stunned after watching the film.

‘Karnan’ has Malayali actress Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead. The supporting cast also includes Lal, Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Azhagar Perumal, Natty aka Natarajan Subramanian, ’96’ fame Gouri Kishan and Yogi Babu. Kollywood’s veteran producer Kalipuli S Thanu is producing the film under the banner of V Creations.
