Here’s a location still from Ajith’s Valimai

Thala Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth has been eagerly awaited by the fans. The film went on floors in 2019-end and got delayed due to the pandemic. The makers still have a foreign schedule left for the entire shoot to be completed.

Meanwhile, fans have been extremely disappointed with the makers for not sharing regular updates. Though #ValimaiUpdate is a regularly trending hashtag in Twitter, the team has remained tight-lipped about the project. However, much to the delight of the fans, a location still has been leaked online. It looks like a family photo in which a clean-shaven Ajith is seen holding his on-screen mom Sumithra’s hand. Kannada actor Achyuth Kumar, known for his roles in films like ‘Vikram Vedha’, ‘Kavaludaari’ and ‘KGF’, is the only other known actor in the photo.

‘Valimai’ is said to be a cop-action thriller made on a lavish budget. It will also be Ajith’s first pan-Indian film with a Hindi release as well. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi plays the female lead. Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda will be seen as the antagonist in the film.

‘Valimai’ has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director and Nirav Shah as the cinematographer. Boney Kapoor is producing the film.
