Young star Dulquer Salmaan is on a high after all the appreciation he has got from media and celebrities for his show of skill in the Kollywood film OK kanmani made by Mani Ratnam the master director. Even though his much awaited mollywood film 100 days of love which was released in this march was not reached up to the expected level of success. But his next release OK Kanmani had really gave him a good fortune as a star and specially a romantic star in south Indian film industry. When come to romance it seems that Dulquer Salmaan is more natural than any of the young heroes today in Mollywood.
Now one of his latest flick which started its shooting is also a romantic flick and the movie is directing by Martin Prakkat who had given him the success named ABCD in 2013 and his first film was Best actor with Mammootty in the lead which is also a success. The film is titles as Charlie. Aparnna Gopinath who played Dulquer Salman’s heroine in the film ABCD will play an important character in this film as well and it is no coincidence that Aparnna is working with Dulquer again after ABCD in the same director’s next film with Dulquer Salman who has directed ABCD.
This will be Martin prakkat’s next flick after ABCD and the film is financed by the director himself along with actor Joju George and Shebin Bucker under the banner of Finding Cinemas which was started two years back. It will be Joju’s first venture as a producer as well. This film will have actors like Neeraj Madhav, Joju George who is the financer of the flick as well, Chemban Vinod Jose etc and the story of the film is written by R Unni after he wrote Munnariyippu. Script will be done by Martin Prakkat in association with Unni R and Gopi Sundar will create the music for the lyrics penned down by Santhosh Varma and Rafeeq ahammad.
Popular cinematographer Jomon T john is the DOP of the flick and the main locations where the shoot of the film is scheduled is Kochi, Gujarath, Moonnar etc as per reports and Mammootty’s play house release will distribute this flick in the theaters near you.
