Fahad Fazil Set to Portray Antagonist Role in Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 170
Renowned Mollywood actor Fahad Fazil continues to make a significant impact on the landscape of South Indian cinema, captivating audiences with his compelling portrayals of negative characters in both Tamil and Telugu films. His exceptional performances as a villain in productions like Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa” and Maari Selvaraj’s “Maamannan” have garnered immense acclaim from fans and cinephiles alike.
Fahad Fazil’s journey takes an exciting turn as he prepares to embody yet another antagonist character in a Tamil film, this time sharing the screen with none other than the legendary Rajinikanth. The superstar’s forthcoming project, tentatively known as “Thalaivar 170,” is poised to commence filming in the third week of September, following its auspicious Pooja ceremony held on August 26th.
The directorial reins for this Rajinikanth starrer will be in the capable hands of TJ Gnanavel, who rose to prominence with the acclaimed work “Jai Bhim.” Adding to the grandeur of the ensemble, the film will also feature the iconic Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. The cast, which includes Rajinikanth, Fahad Fazil, Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, and Sharvanand, promises a constellation of prominent characters in this magnum opus.
Insider reports suggest that Rajinikanth is set to portray a Muslim police officer in the movie, a character dedicated to combating false encounter punishments. The musical genius Anirudh Ravichander is entrusted with curating the film’s musical landscape. Filming is projected to conclude by November of this year. Speculation has also circulated about the film potentially being titled “Vettaiyan.”
