Fahadh Faasil opts out of Mani Ratnam’s movie?
Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam is gearing up to start shooting for his next film – a multi-starrer. Arvind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Simbu, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari were announced as the lead cast. But certain reports now suggest that Fahadh Faasil has opted out of the movie. The exact reason for him pulling out of such a big project is now yet known. An official confirmation is still awaited.
As per reports, Fahadh, Arvind Swamy and Simbu were supposed to play gangster brothers in the movie while Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to play a cop. If Fahadh has indeed opted out, the director will have a tough time finding replacement for such a fine actor like him. The movie is slated to go on floors by the end of this month. Lyca Productions will be producing this movie on a first copy basis along with Madras Talkies.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil is busy working on the final schedule of his upcoming movie Trance, directed by Anwar Rasheed. His Tamil movie Super Deluxe, an anthology directed by National award winner Thyagaraja Kumararaja, is also nearing completion. Besides these above-mentioned ones, Fahadh has also committed for debutant Vivek’s Aanengilum Allengilum, a rom-com co-starring Sunny Wayne. He is also in talks for Sathayn Anthikad’s next film which is being scripted by Sreenivasan.
