Gautham Menon revives Yohan Athyayam Ondru with a young star!
Gautham Menon is infamous for his tendency to dabble with multiple projects at a time. While he is yet to complete the shoot of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, the director has already started works on his next. His new film is also a spy thriller and it has Varun of ‘Puppy’ and ‘Vanamagan’ fame in the lead. Interestingly, this film is said to be the rehashed version of ‘Yohan Athyayam Ondru’, which the director had originally planned with superstar Vijay.
‘Yohan’ was planned as a spy-thriller trilogy but Vijay was not convinced with it as he felt the film will not appeal to the masses and his huge fan base. After several years, Gautham Menon is now reviving the same project with Varun and it has reportedly been titled as ‘Joshua Athyayam Ondru’. It is said that the makers have already shot a brief schedule in the US. Details regarding the cast and crew are not yet out.
Ishari Ganesh of Vels International is producing this big budget film. Gautham Menon has committed this project as the producer has pledged to help Menon out of all his financial issues.
