Gokul Suresh to star in Padmakumar’s Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film
Director M Padmakumar is currently on a high with the success of his latest release, ‘Joseph’. The movie starring Joju George in the lead emerged both as a critical and commercial hit. The director is presently working on the epic film ‘Maamaankam’, which he took up halfway after its original director Sajeev Pillai was ousted by the producer. After the completion of ‘Maamaankam’, Padmakumar will be starting works on a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film.
If reports are to believed, the movie is being scripted by Viswan, who has earlier directed a film called ‘Appavum Veenjum’. Gokul Suresh will be playing one of the leads in this upcoming movie. Tamil actors like Vidharth of ‘Mynaa’ fame and Samuthirakani will also be part of the cast. The movie is reportedly a thriller set in Coimbatore. More details are expected to be revealed shortly.
Gokul Suresh will be next seen in ‘Soothrakkaran’ in which he plays the lead alongside Maniyan Pilla Raju’s son Niranj. The movie directed by debutant Anil RRaj is touted to be a family oriented thriller with all commercial elements. Gokul also has ‘Sayana Varthakal’, ‘Ulta’, ‘Ilayaraja’ and an untitled film with debutant Sanjith Chandrasenan coming up.
