Harish Sivaramakrishnan sings a love rock number for Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru
Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is one biggie in the making that’s eagerly awaited by many, including both fans and cine lovers. The film is being directed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame. Shoot has already been completed and post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace as the makers are eyeing a Pongal release, in January next year.
Recently, music director GV Prakash took to his social media handle to share that singer Harish Sivaramakrishnan of the popular rock band ‘Agam’ has rendered a track in the film. According to the composer, it is a love rock number that has been beautifully shot by director Sudha. GV’s tweet reads,

GV Prakash has pinned high hopes on ‘Sottru Pottru’. He started composing for the movie nearly a year back. Earlier, he had collaborated with another Kerala based popular indie rock band ‘Thaikkudam Bridge’ for a song in the movie. Arunraja Kamaraja, who has written lyrics chartbuster songs in ‘Kabali’, ‘Theri’ and ‘Mersal’, penned that track.
‘Soorarai Pottru scripted jointly by Shalini Usha Nair and Sudha Kongara is loosely based on the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan, who is also a retired captain of the Indian army. Malayali actress Aparna Balamurali plays the female lead. Paresh Rawal, Jackie Shroff and Mohan Babu will also be seen in prominent roles. The film has cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy and stunts handled by Hollywood action choreographer Greg Powell.
