Here’s the first look poster of Vishnu Unnikrishnan-Dharmajan starrer Vikadakumaran
Nadirshah’s second directorial ‘Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan’ was one of the biggest surprise hits in recent times. The movie had Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Dharmajan Bolgatty in the lead roles. Their rib-tickling comedy numbers found great acceptance among the families and the movie eventually emerged as a huge commercial success.
The superhit duo is now coming together once again for a new movie, titled ‘Vikadakumaran’. Boban Samuel, who has previously made hit films like Janapriyan and Romans, is directing this movie, which also promises to be a full on fun entertainer.
Vikadakumaran has Vishnu Unnikrishnan playing the role of a lawyer while Dharmajan will be seen as his clerk (gumasthan). Manasa Radhakrishnan, who made an impressive debut with Asif Ali’s Kaattu, plays the female lead. Salim Kumar, Indrans, Sunil Sukhada, Kalabhavan Haneef, Seema G Nair and Jinu Abraham are also part of the supporting cast. YV Rajesh of ‘Georgettan’s Pooram’ fame has scripted this movie.
Vikadakumaran is being produced by Arun Ghosh and Bijoy Chandran. An interesting thing to note about this film is that it also marks the reunion of the ‘Romans’ team. Director Boban Samuel, writer YV Rajesh and the producers last worked together in Romans, starring Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon.
Vikadakumaran’s technical team comprises of composer Rahul Raj, lyricist BK Harinarayanan, cinematographer Ajay David Kachappilly and editor Deepu Joseph. The movie is gearing up for release, though an exact date has not yet been announced.
