Here’s the second look of Karthi’s new film Kaithi
We had recently reported about Karthi teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a movie titled ‘Kaithi’. Its second look poster was released last day on the eve of Karthi’s birthday. The makers have informed that the movie’s teaser will be out on May 30. SR Prakashbabu and Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures is producing the movie.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj made his debut in 2017 with the superhit action-thriller ‘Maanagaram’. He is also in talks for Thalapathy Vijay’s next film. His new movie ‘Kaithi’ has Karthi playing a jail convict. The poster looks intense with blood shades all over and it hints at another action packed flick. Sathyan Sooryan of ‘Theeran’ fame has cranked the camera and music is by Sam CS.

Karthi meanwhile has an interesting line up of films in his kitty. He is currently shooting for Jeethu Joseph’s film in which he shares screen space with his sister-in-law Jyothika for the first time. Nikhila Vimal plays the female lead in the movie. Karthi has also committed for a film with ‘Remo’ director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. Touted to be an action cum family drama, the film marks the Tamil debut of South Indian sensation Rashmika Mandanna.
