Impressed by Nerkonda Paarvai, Suriya and Jyothika send flower bouquets to Ajith
‘Nerkonda Paarvai, the official remake of ‘Pink’ has opened to overwhelming response in Tamil Nadu. The movie has been getting unanimously positive response and has been rated as a faithful remake that does true justice to the original. Ajith’s performance is being widely appreciated and along with that, his decision to do such an important film is getting him applause from all corners. Actors Suriya and his wife had watched ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ on Thursday and were thoroughly impressed by it. As a token of love, the stars sent flower bouquets to Ajith and director H Vinoth. It is not often that we get to see such graceful camaraderie between two top stars.
‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ is produced by Boney Kapoor, husband of late actress Sridevi. Ajith has reprised Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. Shraddha Srinath is essaying the role done by Taapsee Pannu. It also marks Bollywood actess Vidya Balan’s debut in Tamil. She had done the role of Ajith’s wife in it. Kalki Koechlin is also making a guest appearance in a song.
Along with the critical appreciation,’Nerkonda Paarvai’ has also opened to pretty good numbers at the box office. It has approximately grossed around Rs 14 crore in Tamil Nadu. With the positive word of mouth, the movie is expected to have a good run at the box office.
