It’s not a superstar film, Vineeth Sreenivasan opens up about his dream project!
Eventhough Vineeth Sreenivasan has directed just four films, he enjoys a considerable fan following. The multi- talented Vineeth has always been vocal about his directorial dreams. Several times in the past, Vineeth has mentioned about his dream to bring together the legendary combo of Mohanlal and his father Sreenivasan in a movie.
In a recent interview, Vineeth revealed about another dream project of his. He wishes to direct his father in a full-length role. Eventhough, Vineeth has directed him in his debut directorial Malarvaadi Arts Club and later in Thattathin Marayathu, they were all cameo roles.
Vineeth wants to direct a film with his father Sreenivasan as the central character. Not just that, the filmmaker wants this movie to be a unique one, a kind of movie that people don’t normally expect from Sreenivasan. Vineeth has already had discussions with writers for such a film but nothing has materialised yet.
Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan starre Oru Cinemakkaran is also gearing up for an Eid release. The movie is directed by Leo Thaddeus of Payyans fame. Vineeth is playing the role of an aspiring filmmaker while Rajisha Vijayan will be seen as his pair in the movie. Renji Panicker, Lal, Vijay Babu, Anusree, Murali Gopy, Lalu Alex and Harish Kanaran are also part of the cast. Thomas Panicker has produced this movie, touted to be a light-hearted entertainer.
