Janatha Garage first day reports disappointed me, says Siva Koratala
Janatha Garage, the Mohanlal-Jr NTR starrer Telugu movie is on the way to be a milestone movie in Tollywood as it had already grossed more than 100 crore from its worldwide run. The movie which made using a budget of 40 crore already earned a worldwide share around 67 crore and become the second fastest Telugu movie to get 60 crore+ share after SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali.
The flick has been directed and scripted by Koratala Siva and he said in a recent media interview that he was disappointed when he heard the first reviews of the movie after its benefit shows from Telugu states. But later people accepted the movie with both hands.
He said that at first some average reviews came because people expected a complete action movie from Jr NTR-Mohanlal combination. Janatha Garage is not a complete action movie, but it is more of an emotional family drama with action in it.
Mohanlal is been getting tremendous appreciation for his performance in the film and the Telugu people had accepted him with both hands. This flick had become the biggest hit till now in Jr NTR’s career and through this film, both Mohanlal and Jr NTR had entered in the 100 crore club for the first time.
