Actor Karthi is turning 42 today and birthday wishes are pouring from all corners. Fans, colleagues and well wishers have been showering wishes through social medias. Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph, the director of Karthi’s ongoing movie was deeply moved by the star’s gesture to have lunch on sets despite being his birthday.

Jeethu’s film with Karthi also stars Jyothika, Sathyaraj and Nikhila Vimal. Interestingly, this is the first time Karthi is acting together with his sister-in-law Jyothika. Malayali actors Anson Paul and Hareesh Peradi are also part of this yet-to-be titled movie’s supporting cast.
Karthi currently has ‘Maanagaram’ Lokesh’s ‘Kaithi’ gearing up for release. He has also committed for a film with ‘Remo’ director Bakkiyaraj Kannan. Touted to be an action cum family drama, the film marks the Tamil debut of South Indian sensation Rashmika Mandanna.
