Jeethu Joseph simultaneously working on Ram and Drishyam 2 edits!
After wrapping up the shoot of ‘Drishyam 2’ in quick time, director Jeethu Joseph is already into the post-production works. Interestingly, he is working on the edits of ‘Drishyam 2’ and his shelved project ‘Ram’ simultaneously. The director has shared a photo of the same from the edit table in his social media handle.
‘Ram’ starring superstar Mohanlal was the first to go on floors earlier this year. Shoot was progressing at a brisk pace when the pandemic brought things to a standstill. Since the film has to be shot in overseas locations, the makers decided to shelve the project for the time being. They are expected to resume works once the situation gets better.
‘Ram’ is said to be a thriller made on a big scale. Along with Mohanlal, it also has some other popular names like Trisha, Indrajith Sukumaran, Adil Hussain, Leon Lishoy and Durga Krishnan. Some major portions where orginally planned to be shot in Egypt, London and Istanbul. After the virus outbreak, it remains to be seen how they plan to complete the shoot. Ramesh R Pillai and Sudhan S Pillai are jointly producing the film under the banner of Abhishek Films.
‘Drishyam 2’, meanwhile, is the sequel to the all-time blockbuster film that got released in 2013. The second part once again revolves around the lives of Georgekutty and his family. Along with Mohanlal, actors like Asha Sarath, Siddique, Meena, Esther Anil and Ansiba Hassan are also their reprising their roles. The makers have confirmed that the film will be released only in theatres.
