Jeethu Joseph’s Hindi film with Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor starts rolling
As we had earlier reported, Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph is foraying into Bollywood this year. His maiden Hindi flick starring Emraan Hashmi and veteran Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles went on floors last day. The director shared a couple of photos from the movie’s sets in his official Facebook page. The movie is being produced by Sunil Kheterpal and will be presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
Jeethu Joseph is one of the most sought after filmmakers in Mollywood at present. His last outing Aadhi with Pranav Mohanlal was a huge commercial success. He has also signed for a movie with Kalidas Jayaram. Jeethu is well known for his thriller movies and his Hindi debut also belongs to his favorite genre – thriller.
According to the makers, it is a crime thriller with elements of horror. It is said to be the remake of Spanish thriller The Body, which was released in 2012. Reportedly, the producers had approached Jeethu after acquiring the movie’s remake rights. This yet-to-be titled movie will be shot in a single schedule lasting around 45 days. More details regarding the supporting cast and crew are expected to be announced in the coming days.
