Joju George Teams Up with Shaji Kailas for Varavu
Celebrated filmmaker Shaji Kailas has announced his next venture, Varavu, with acclaimed actor Joju George in the lead role. The film, backed by Olga Productions and produced by Naisy Reji, is slated for release in 2025. This project marks the first time that Joju George will headline a Shaji Kailas directorial, making the collaboration one of the most anticipated in Malayalam cinema. The film’s tagline, “Revenge is not a dirty business”, hints at a gripping narrative packed with intensity and raw emotions.
Varavu also brings back the much-loved creative duo of Shaji Kailas and writer A. K. Saajan, who have previously delivered several memorable films together. Known for his power-packed screenwriting and strong narratives, Saajan is once again joining forces with the director who defined an era of mass entertainers in Malayalam. Their reunion promises a film loaded with action, drama, and the signature punch that audiences expect from this pair.
With music composed by Sam CS and cinematography handled by Sujith Vaassudev, the technical crew further raises expectations for a cinematic spectacle.
