Kailash starrer Son of Gangster starts rolling

New Malayalam film ‘Son of Gangster’ started rolling today. The film is written and directed by Vimal Raj. Kailash is playing the lead role in the film. Sinoj Augustian is producing it under the banner of R Colours Productions. From the title poster, it looks like a crime drama.

It is said that ‘Son of Gansgter’ is being planned as a direct OTT-release film. The makers are yet to announce it officially. On the technical front, the film has Pappinu cranking the camera. Sreehari K Nair, who made a promising debut with ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’, will be handling the music department. Manu Shaju is in charge of the edits.

Kailash, who made his debut as a lead actor with ‘Neelathamara’, is yet to prove himself as a bankable lead actor. Though he has done notable roles in several films, he still hasn’t got a solo commercial hit. The actor will be hoping that ‘Son of Gangster’ gives him that much needed break.
