Kamal Haasan starts final schedule of shoot for Vishwaroopam 2!
Kamal Haasan’s ambitious film Vishwaroopam 2 was shelved for a long time before his own production house Raajkamal Films International took over the project. After a long delay Kamal has finally started the final leg of shoot in Chennai. He posted a couple of photos from the movie’s sets in his social media space. Shoot is currently progressing at a rapid pace at Officers Training Academy in Chennai.
Kamal and Andrea Jeremiah along with a group of other artists are seen in army getup. Reportedly, only a few patch up portions are remaining and the makers are planning to release the movie on January 26, the Republic Day. Recently, music director Ghibran had informed that the movie is shaping up well and they will be releasing the trailer very soon.
The Vishwaroopam series, written and directed by Kamal Haasan features him in the lead role of a hotshot RAW agent. The first part, released in 2014, was a huge success both critically and commercially. Though the film faced several hurdles prior to it’s release, it emerged as a big blockbuster doing a lifetime business of over 100 crores.
Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekhar Kapur will be reprising their roles from the first part. The technical team of Vishwaroopam 2 comprises of Malayali cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen and editor Mahesh Narayanan.
