Karthi and Jyothika in Jeethu Joseph directorial Thambi; Here’s the first look poster!
Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph’s new Tamil film with Karthi has been titled as ‘Thambi’. Its first look poster got released online just a while back in social medias. Said to be a family-oriented thriller, the film also stars Jyothika, Nikhil Vimal and Sathyaraj in major roles.
This is the first time Jyothika and Karthi are acting together. Both the actors feature in the first look. They will be seen as siblings in the film and Sathyaraj essays the role of their father. Nikhila Vimal is paired with Karthi. Anson Paul, Hareesh Peradi, Seetha Sowkar Janaki, ‘Ratchasan’ fame Ammu Abhirami and Ilavarasu are also part of the supporting cast.
On the technical front, RD Rajasekhar is the cinematographer and Govind Vasantha handles the music department. Parallel Minds and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures are jointly producing the film. The makers are planning to release the film on December 20 during the Christmas season.
