Keerthy Suresh likely to play the female lead in Vijay’s next!

Keerthy Suresh is a much in demand actress in the South at present. The actress has a handful of exciting projects in her kitty, both in the Tamil and Telugu industry. As per latest reports, the pretty actress is in talks to play the female lead in Thalapathy Vijay’s next film with AR Murugadoss. She has already worked with Vijay in Bairavaa, released earlier this year.

Reportedly, Keerthy has been approached for Thalapathy 62 but the actress is yet to sign the dotted lines. She is currently busy shooting for her Telugu flick Agnyaathavaasi, in which she is paired opposite Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Suirya’s Thaana Serntha Koottam, Vikram’s Saamy 2 and Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2 are some of her other projects in the pipeline.

Sonakshi Sinha and Rakul Preet are some of the other names that have been doing the rounds for the female lead in Thalapathy 62. An official announcement about the same is expected to be made very soon. Currently, AR Murugadoss and his team is busy with the pre-production works. The movie is slated to go on floors by thee end of January or by the first week of February. Since this is Vijay-Murugadoss duo’s third outing together after the blockbuster success of Thuppakki and Kaththi, expectations are huge among the audience.

Malayali cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, known for his stellar works in films like Angamaly Diaries and Guppy, will be cranking the camera. Though there were reports about Anirudh handling the music department, latest buzz is that the makers are trying to rope in Vikram Vedha fame Sam CS to compose music. Multiple national award winner Sreekar Prasad has been brought on board to handle the edits.

Reportedly, Sun Pictures and Lyca Productions will be jointly funding this film. An official announcement with details about the cast and crew members is expected to be made very soon.
