Kerala State Film Awards 2018; Jayasurya, Soubin and Nimisha bag top honours
When compared to the past few years, 2018 was a comparatively damp year for Malayalam film industry. Despite that, we were lucky enough to witness a handful of brilliant movies and some top performances. Kerala State Awards is considered prestigious for honouring the deserving from the industry. State awards for the year 2018 has been announced today by the Minister for cultural affairs, AK Balan in a press meet held in state capital, Thiruvananthapuram. Here’s the complete list of winners:

Best Character Actor, Male – Joju George (Joseph)
