I am aware that I am not a good actor: Vineeth Sreenivasan
Vineeth Sreenivasan last directed Nivin Pauly’s superhit movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam. He then ventured into production, forming a new production house Habit Of Life. Last year, he bankrolled Aanandam a movie that mostly compromised, of newcomers. Aanandam also turned into a superhit success.
Now, Vineeth Sreenivasan is gearing up for his next release, but this time as an actor. Aby directed by debutant Srikanth Murali is all set to hit screens on February 23.
Vineeth has touched glory in many fields like playback singing, lyric writing, screen writing, direction and now production. But his acting is something he would have to work on and he himself has admitted that several times. During a recent interview, Vineeth said that he keeps acting again and again hoping that one day, he will become good at it.
He added, “I love cinema and I am passionate about it. I am someone who came into films out of my love for it. So while I am on a break from direction and when good scripts come to me, I don’t feel like missing those chances to work with great directors and teams.”
Vineeth started his acting career in 2008 through the movie Cycle. He has also starred in acclaimed movies like Traffic, Chappa Kurishu, Om Shanti Oshana and Oru Vadakkan Selfie. He was last seen in a cameo appearance in Jude Anthany Joseph’s Oru Muthassi Gadha.
The title role in Aby will be a challenging one for Vineeth as it is about a differently abled boy’s dreams to fly. Post Aby, he has also committed for Payyans fame Leo Thaddeus’ next movie titled as Oru Cinemakkaran. Vineeth is playing an aspiring filmmaker in the movie which features Anuraga Karikkin Vellam fame Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead
