Kunchacko Boban and Fahadh Faasil worked in Take Off without taking any remuneration
Editor turned filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan’s debut directorial Take Off has is gearing up for release. The movie is scheduled to hit screens all over Kerala on March 24.
Take Off is a story about nurses who get trapped in Iraq during the war period. The movie’s trailer featured some stunning visuals of the war affected areas. Upon release, it was trending virally in social medias.
Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Parvathy Menon and Asif Ali play the lead roles in the movie. Take Off is being made as a tribute to late filmmaker Rajesh Pillai. Many close acquaintances of the late director from within and outside the film industry have come forward to support this movie. The movie is funded by Anto Joseph and Shebin Becker in association with Rajesh Pillai Films.
Interestingly, the lead actors Fahadh Faasil and Kunchako Boban have not taken a single penny as remuneration for working in the movie. Kunchacko Boban is playing a male nurse in the movie while Fahadh Faasil will be seen as Manoj, an Indian Ambassador in the movie.
Director of the movie Mahesh Narayanan has worked with Rajesh Pillai in Traffic as an editor and as a scriptwriter in Mili. Take Off is jointly written by Mahesh Narayanan and PV Shaji Kumar.
Sanu Varghese who has worked in biggies like Vishwaroopam, Thoongvanam, Wazir etc has cranked the camera in this movie. Abhilash Balachandran is the editor while Shaan Rahman has composed the music.
