For Kunchacko Boban, Shikkari Shambu will do what Meesha Madhavan did to Dileep’s career: Sugeeth
Kunchacko Boban’s Shikkari Shambu is getting ready to hit screens this month. The movie marks the reunion of Kunchacko Boban with director Sugeeth and writer Nishad Koya after delivering hits like Ordinary and Madhura Naranga. Sugeeth has pinned high expectations on the movie as he believes that it will be a game changer for Kunchacko Boban.
Shikkari Shambu is a fun entertainer set in a fictional village named Kuruthimalakavu. Kunchacko Boban plays the character Peeli aka Peelipose. The movie is centred around the events that happen after Peeli and his gang reach the village in the disguise of wild hunters.
In a recent interview, the director is quoted saying, “It is going to be Chackochen’s mass avatar. Peelipose is a kind of charcater that we don’t often identify with Chackochan. But he has pulled it off really well. I believe Shikkari Shambu will do what Meesha Madhavan did to Dileep’s career.”
Newcomers Shanavas Abbas and Raju Chandra have penned the story of Shikkari Shambu. Sshivada has been paired opposite Kunchacko Boban in the movie. ‘Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan’ fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Hareesh Kanaran, Krishna Kumar, debutante Alphonsa and Salim Kumar play other major roles. Directors Aji John, Johnny Antony and MA Noushad are also part of the supporting cast. Popular Tamil producer RK Suresh is essaying the villain role in this movie.
Shikkari Shambu’s shoot has already been wrapped up and the team is currently busy with post-production works. SK Lawrence is producing the movie under the banner of Angel Maria Films.
