“Level Cross” Secures a Spot in the Prestigious Academy Library, Achieving New Heights for Indian Cinema

The psychological thriller Level Cross, featuring Asif Ali and Amala Paul, has achieved a significant milestone by being archived in the renowned Academy Library, a rare recognition tied to the Oscars. This honor highlights the film’s impact and solidifies its status in global cinema. Initially released on July 26, 2024, the film is now available on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Aha, and Simply South.

Directed and written by Arfaz Ayub, Level Cross explores the life of Raghu, a secluded gatekeeper portrayed by Asif Ali. His quiet existence is disrupted when he discovers Chaitali, played by Amala Paul, lying injured after a suicide attempt. As Raghu helps Chaitali recover, he unearths dark secrets surrounding her past, leading to an intense psychological narrative.

Supported by dialogues from Adam Ayub and produced by Ramesh P Pillai of Abhishek Films, Level Cross shines technically, with Appu Prabhakar’s cinematography, Deepu Joseph’s editing, and a musical score from Vishal Chandrashekhar and Vinayak Sasikumar.
