Why did Lissy not act in movies post marriage?

The actress in a recent interview said that it was her decision to stay away from movies after the wedding. She believed that concentrating in movie after the wedding, will affect her family life.
Lissy-Priyadarshan couple have two children. The actress said, she was very busy after her wedding raising up the kids and then looking after their business.
Lissy said, I never felt sorry for not acting in movies after marriage. My happiness was around my husband and kids, so i never regretted my decision to stay away from movies.
I still believe that was the best decision I could take, and even today I do not have any second thoughts about that.
Lissy was one of the most popular actresses of the south in the 80s and early 90s. She grabbed the audience’s hearts with her stunning looks.
The talented actress was at the peak of her career when she fell in love with popular filmmaker Priyadarshan and married him.
The celebrated couple got married in 1990. She has acted with some of the most popular actors of that time like Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram Mukesh etc.
The couple filed for divorce in 2014, and ended their 24 year long married life in 2016 when the divorce was granted.
