Mahaveeryar: Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali team up for Abrid Shine’s next

Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali are set to play the lead roles in director Abrid Shine’s new film. Titled as ‘Mahaveeryar’, the film went on floors today in Rajasthan. Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures is jointly producing the film along with Indian Movie Makers. Announcing the project through his social media handle, Nivin wrote,

Extremely happy to announce our next project — #Mahaveeryar produced by Pauly Jr Pictures and #IndianMovieMakers (Shamnas). Once again joining hands with the super talented #AbridShine. We also have a delightful cast featuring my brother Asif Ali, Lal sir, #Siddique and Shanvi Srivastava.

‘Mahaveeryar’ is Nivin Pauly’s third film with director Abrid Shine. Both their previous films, ‘1983’ and ‘Action Hero Biju’ were commercially successful. The duo will be hoping to repeat the success once again. It will also be interesting to see Asif Ali and Nivin share screen space after almost a decade. They had worked together in ‘Sevenes’ and ‘Traffic’.
