Mammootty to team up with Lijo Jose Pellissery under the production of Friday Film House
Another super exciting project is on its way for the Mammootty fans and film lovers of Kerala. Mammootty is all set to team up with popular director Lijo Jose Pellissery and the film will be produced popular banner Friday Film House owned by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas had shared a selfie with Mammootty, Lijo Jose Pellissery and writer PF Mathews through their official Facebook pages and told that a dream will come true soon.
PF Mathews may be the writer of this film from Friday Film house and he had earlier wrote films like Thanthram, Puthran, Savithriyude aranjanam, Kutti Srank etc. Other details of this upcoming film is not yet available and the official declaration of the film will arrive soon as per reports. Lijo Jose Pellissery’s last film was Double Barrel, which was released last with Prithviraj, Indrajith, Arya, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne etc in the lead roles. But that film was not received very well at box office. But he is popular for his other films like Amen with Fahad Fazil, Nayakan with Indrajith, City of God with Prithviraj etc. His Amen which had Fahad Fazil and Indrajith in the lead was a super successful one.

Friday Film house had produced around 7 films so far and every film made a mark in Mollywood in one way or the other. They had made films with Jayasurya, Fahad Fazil, etc in the beginning and also made a film with Super Star Mohanlal. It was the film named Peruchazhi, which was a profitable venture for them even though it was thrashed by critics. Their last year productions was Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu and Adi Kapyare Koottamani. Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu had got noticed only after the DVD release of the film. Adi Kapyre Koottamani was their first co-production with Carnival motion pictures.
Films like Adi Kapyare Koottamani 2, Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyanu sequel and Muthugow is coming from Friday Film House in the future along with this Mammootty film.
