Mammootty, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara to team up
If reports are believed, a huge multi-starrer is currently being planned in the South. Mammootty, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara are likely to to team up for a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual. Debutant Vipin will be directing the film. Though an official word is yet to be made, it is said that shoot will be commencing this year itself. The three stars have not acted together before and it will be nothing short of a treat if the project materializes.
Mammootty is currently shooting for ‘Shylock’ directed by Ajai Vasudev. His next release will be ‘is simultaneously shooting for ‘Ganagandharavan’, scheduled to hit screens by the end of next month. ‘Mamangam’ with M Padmakumar, ‘Ameer’ with Vinod Vijayan, ‘Bilal’ with Amal Neerad and ‘One’ scripted by Bobby-Sanjay are his other upcoming projects.
Vijay Sethupathi also has several projects lined up. ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’, ‘Maamanithan’, ‘Sanga Tamizhan’ and ‘Laabam’ are some of his films in the pipeline. Nayanthara is also occupied with multiple projects in her kitty. She is part of Vijay-Atlee team’s ‘Thalapathy 63’, Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. Her Malayalam film ‘Love Action Drama’ in which she shares screen space with Nivin Pauly is slated for next month as an Onam release.
